Our Solution – Our Approach
Our approach is pretty simple. Basically, we put long-term unemployed job seekers into work… Then we go to work on them. We do this because paid work often provides a stable platform for young people to resolve personal issues, helping to improve their prospects for the future.
Our Youthinc YEP program involves placing disadvantaged youth into retail jobs in the CRG business network, including retailers, suppliers & service providers.
We realise that getting young people into work is just the beginning of helping them grow and succeed. We also provide workplace mentors, and a range of personal development programs and support services. These initiatives help build life-skills and confidence, providing a pathway toward a better future.
Low-income youth need a paycheck.
Our program pays young people for their work. A paycheck is critical for our at-risk youth clients who are often living on their own or contributing to the basic living expenses of their families.
Hands-on training in a real business setting is better than in a classroom.
Our youth play important roles in the day-to-day operations of our businesses. They learn the basic skills related to their assigned job while gaining important workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, accountability and conflict management.
